Editor's review

This book is a collection of He Fan's essays from the past two years, with over thirty pieces spanning three levels: economic phenomena, economic issues, and reflections on life. In the section on insights into economic hot topics, the author breaks down current issues in an essayistic style, without piling on jargon, so ordinary readers can follow the thread; the section on economics education and learning experiences reads more like an old hand sharing experience, suitable for economics students to compare against their own study methods. The pieces vary in length, making the book easy to dip into in fragmented moments without reading in order. Its strength lies in placing professional observation and life reflections in the same book, making for an engaging read. Note that the essay form means the discussion is not systematic or complete; those wanting to delve into a particular economic issue will need to supplement with monographs. Overall, it is a collection of economics essays that serves both as extracurricular reading for students and as engaging material for general readers.
