The Sky Controller

The Sky Controller is a long urban cultivation novel by the web author Lord Worshipping the Moon, serialized on Zhulang.com and other platforms from 2010 onward, later reposted and completed across multiple sites. The protagonist, Third Young Master Wei, is a libertine whose life hangs by a thread after excessive drinking and pill-taking; just then, the remnant soul of Earth's greatest master from five hundred years in the future possesses him, and the two consciousnesses mysteriously merge into one. Once stood up by his fiancée at their engagement banquet and reduced to a laughingstock among Dongzhou City's upper class, he now has the means to reverse his fate, and with a forceful attitude and methods he crushes the mockery and contempt of others one by one. The core premise is "entering the Way through acupoints": rather than cultivating the usual meridians and dantian, the protagonist starts from the body's acupoints, seeking an indestructible golden body, taking acupoint control as his Way and thereby advancing toward the path of "controlling the sky"—hence the title The Sky Controller. The novel blends urban clan feuds, military forces, ancient martial sects and the cultivation world, its scope expanding from the single city of Dongzhou to the divine realm, the immortal domain and eventually the cosmic level; it is a typical urban cultivation power-up wish-fulfillment novel. The book is enormous, and reposted versions vary widely in chapter counts and word counts; because no authoritative edition exists, word count, ratings and similar data are left blank on this page.
