Heavenly Saint

Tian Sheng is an Eastern fantasy novel by the web author Xinmeng Wuhen (Zou Kangzhong), serialized on Qidian from March 14, 2012 to January 7, 2013, and completed in eight volumes totaling approximately 2.158 million Chinese characters. The story follows the male protagonist Yitian, who is born with the "Heaven-Crippled Body," burdened by the Heaven-Crippled Curse and a fate ordained from birth. Yet he embarks on the path of cultivation with the Eight Extremes Divine Power bestowed by the Eight Extremes Divine Hall. Starting as an outer disciple of the Thousand Moon Manor, he endures rigorous training through the realms of Power Training, Spirit Transformation, and Spirit Ring, fighting his way through martial tournaments, clan feuds, and cross-realm conflicts. To uncover his origins and the truth, Yitian enters the Heavenly Continent, where clues point layer by layer to the "Heavenly Emperor," ruler of the Heavenly Continent and indeed of the entire cosmos. Armed with the Book of Origin, he gains the strength to challenge the Heavenly Emperor—only to find, upon finally meeting him, that the Emperor's face is identical to his own. From this revelation, mysteries such as the Secret of Returning to Silence and the Twin Souls in One Body begin to unfold, and the story concludes with his ascension to the Immortal Realm. Spanning from the "Heaven-Crippled Blood Draw" to the "Tumult of Yunhuang," the novel unfolds a world order encompassing the Eight Extremes Divine Hall, the coexistence of the Three Realms, and the war between humans and gods. It is regarded as one of the earlier representative long-form Eastern fantasy works on Qidian and was never published in print during its serialization.
