Avengers Vol. 7 #11

This volume is Marvel's Avengers Vol. 7 #11, written by Mark Waid and drawn by Michael Del Mundo, released in the United States on September 20, 2017, with a cover by Alex Ross. It is an aftermath story following the Secret Empire event. After Secret Empire ends, the traces left on the Avengers by the period of Hydra rule do not fade with the event's conclusion, and the relationships and trust among team members have changed. The core suspense of this issue is: will one of Earth's mightiest heroes choose to step forward as the team's leader after the crisis, or simply exit and bid farewell to the Avengers identity? As an issue near the end of the series, it both settles the emotions of the event and lays groundwork for later roster changes.
