Transformers: Generation One, Volume 5

This volume is Volume 5 of the DW edition of Transformers: Generation One compiled by the Sailian translation group, corresponding to issue 5 of the six-issue miniseries of Generation One Part One (later commonly known as Prime Directive) launched by Dreamwave Productions in 2002. The story continues from previous events: the conflict escalates among the Transformers controlled by human forces, the resurrected Megatron, and the Decepticons, while the Autobots, under the dual pressure of energy shortages and harassment by the human military, seek a way to turn the situation around; meanwhile, the human villains on Earth spiral out of control over their nuclear plan, pushing events to the final moment. This volume stands at the closing stage of the miniseries, paving the way for the final battle. The book is a full-color painted comic with refined artwork, one of the representative early DW works. Note that the packaging division of the Sailian edition into "7 volumes total" (including Volume 0, the preview issue) does not exactly match the official single-issue numbering; this volume is archived according to the volume number provided by the user.
