Sword Emperor Reborn is an otherworldly fantasy novel by the web author Hunhun Bao'er. Dismissed as unremarkable from childhood, Qin Cang forms a mystic core at the age of twelve; carrying the memories of his past life and the Vault of Heaven Demon-Drinking Sword he has recovered, he sets out once more on the path of cultivation. As he rises step by step, the crisis of the Nether Gate fracturing and dark demons entering the world gradually unfolds, and the power struggles and old grudges between the two realms are dragged back into the light. The work follows a swordsman's growth and the rivalry between the two realms as its main threads, interwoven with emotional bonds among the characters, and ultimately points toward the protagonist fusing mystic and nether power to stand at the summit of both worlds. The book moves at a brisk pace with dense battle scenes and a clearly defined world and level system; it is a typical otherworldly rebirth fantasy epic from the early 2010s.
