Fully Armed War Maiden

Fully Armed War Maiden is a time-travel web novel by Qidian author Yuexia Xiaohu, running about 1.47 million Chinese characters across more than 540 chapters. The story opens with a blue comet falling from the sky, followed by insect-beasts that devour most of the human world and by supernaturally gifted girls known as "witches." Witches can use their magic to enhance guns and machinery, making them humanity's key weapon against the insect-beasts. The protagonist, Qin Tian, is a modern young man who downloads a game called My Goddess, encounters a strange multiple-choice question on his computer, and is then pulled into another world as the character he created: a twelve-year-old girl who joins the army under the name Qin Xin. She has both a witch's magic and a talent for operating firearms, artillery and even mecha, and grows step by step from recruit training to combat in occupied zones. The work fuses the witch magic system, military organization, insect-beast-occupied zones and humanity's independently developed mechanical armament (mecha) program. Beyond battle scenes, it also depicts the daily life and training shared among comrades. Centered on the declaration "I, Qin Xin, am a witch and a soldier," the novel tells the story of a girl soldier fighting and growing in a post-apocalyptic world.
