Meanwhile, he must contend with capital attacks from rivals, industry blacklisting, and his family's debt crisis, eventually building a cultural-industry empire spanning film and television, media, education, and gaming. The book is a typical system-quest-driven "plagiarism" power fantasy, fast-paced and built around product launches, chart upsets, and market sensations, with plenty of playful imagination about how the entertainment industry, film industrialization, and variety-show production work. It is well suited to light, casual reading as urban entertainment fiction.
