Faith Across the Heavens

Faith Across the Heavens is a heavens-spanning infinite-flow fantasy novel by Cai Dao Shou, serialized on Qidian from August 2017, about 2.229 million characters and over a thousand chapters, completed in 2018. The protagonist Lin Xi was originally a young man from Earth; after transmigrating into the Eternal Sacred Realm, he was taken in by the Hanxi Sect. After the sect's destruction, he hid for three years in the city lord's manor of Longyuan City under the name "Zhao Zheng," assassinated the young city lord Mo Yan on his wedding day, and settled scores with his junior sister Qingxue, who had betrayed the sect. At the brink of death, a stone bead he carried brought him through another transmigration and to safety. Thereafter he traveled back and forth among familiar cultivation and fantasy worlds: in the mortal world he was a strange puppet in Han Li's hands; in I Shall Seal the Heavens he was the uncle whom Meng Hao both respected and feared; in Renegade Immortal he drank with Wang Lin; in Coiling Dragon he was the Radiant Pope who turned the tide; and in Shrouding the Heavens he had deep ties with the Ruthless Great Emperor. Across the heavens he collected faith, ignited divine fire, condensed divinity, and upheld a divine kingdom, running it as a platform where the heavens converge, gathering powerhouses from various worlds to solve crises together, and gradually uncovered the truth behind the Hanxi Sect's destruction and wiped out the Dream God Sect that persecuted cultivators. In the end he cultivated to the realm of transcendence, reunited in the dark void beyond the universe with the father who had arranged everything, set out on the road home, and became the "Eternal Sword Sovereign" of the heavens.
