FF Vol. 3

Summary
This volume collects issue #3 of FF Vol. 2 (Marvel NOW!), written by Matt Fraction and drawn by Michael Allred, originally titled "Old John Storm." The story picks up from what came before: a band of wanderers from another timeline appears at the Future Foundation, one of whom claims to be Johnny Storm—aged, scarred, and fitted with a mechanical prosthetic limb. He tells Ant-Man Scott Lang, Medusa, She-Hulk, "Ms. Thing" Darla Deering, and the Future Foundation children about the catastrophe in that timeline: Reed, Sue, and Ben died in space, and Doctor Doom, Kang the Conqueror, and Annihilus joined forces and merged into the dreaded "Annihilation Conqueror Doctor Doom." Johnny fought him alone for years, and has now fled back to this timeline to sever the passage before disaster strikes. Meanwhile, Scott Lang must rebuild trust while the team is still unformed and persuade pop star Darla, now back in the spotlight, to rejoin the group; underground, four Moloid children strike a secret bargain with the Mole Man; and the Yancy Street Gang wreaks havoc in Darla's dressing room, turning Scott's romantic plans into chaos. The issue closes amid the crowds of New York on New Year's Eve, as Scott presents his plan to his teammates—to go on the offensive and destroy Doctor Doom once and for all. The war begins here.
Editor's review

Reading tips

FAQ
时期）第3期，原题《Old John Storm》，由 Matt Fraction 编剧、Michael Allred 绘制、Laura Allred 上色。
