FF #10

Summary
This volume is issue #10 of FF Vol. 1 (launched in 2011), written by Jonathan Hickman; the single issue is titled "What I Need." It picks up from the previous issue after the Future Foundation group passes through the Inhuman portal "Eldrac," which sends each person to the place they "most need to be." Mister Fantastic, Reed, returns to the Baxter Building, tells his wife Susan about the battle in the future city, admits his recent conduct has been improper, and promises to be forthright from then on; the two also discuss recalling the Thing, Ben Grimm. Spider-Man is sent to Avengers Tower, and his task is precisely to persuade Ben to come home. Nathaniel Richards lands in Latveria and runs straight into Doctor Doom, enslaved by a parallel-world Reed. Meanwhile, the Kree high command hands imperial authority to Ronan the Accuser, who resolves to move against the Inhumans, while his wife Crystal chooses to remain at her husband's side. This volume is a "breathing" installment immediately following a major event, focused on character dialogue and relationship setup, interspersed with Hickman's customary multi-thread layering, and it plants the fuse for the subsequent Kree invasion.
Editor's review

Not a good fit for

Reading tips
FAQ
