李中

Li Zhong: publicly available information is limited, and his body of work is mainly represented by the eleven titles held in our collection. Judging from their subject matter, his writing spans medicine and health, classical poetry, inspirational personal growth, and social science, reflecting a broad intellectual range and a cross-disciplinary approach. His health-related works address practical concerns, such as Face Alzheimer's Disease Head-On, which deals with the illness, and The Complete Book of Minor Acupoints for Major Health (Color Platinum Edition), which popularizes acupoint-based health care in accessible, practical language. His poetry includes poems such as Written on the Wall of Scholar Xia's Secluded Dwelling, Two Poems of Spring Boudoir Sorrow, and verses presented to or sent off with officials and friends; these are formally polished, delicate in feeling, and carry the traditional literati flavor of poetic exchange and farewell. His inspirational works, such as Competition Is So Cruel—How Will You Stand Out?, confront real-life pressure in a pragmatic tone. Overall, Li Zhong's writing combines knowledge dissemination with literary expression, and is varied in subject while plain and steady in style.
