Shi Yin is an author about whom limited public information is available; the library currently holds only one work by this author, Return to the Capital (Gui Jing). Judging by its common classification, the work belongs to the time-travel alternate-history genre, suggesting that the author tends to build narratives around an imagined historical setting and to use the time-travel premise to drive characters and plot. Because details such as dates of birth and death, nationality, and an English name are not recorded in the library, a fuller account of the author's life and creative development cannot be given. Based on the available material, attention focuses mainly on Return to the Capital itself: its placement in the time-travel alternate-history category indicates that the author works within this framework, while the specific writing style, structure, and reader response cannot yet be assessed from existing sources. Readers may take Return to the Capital as the main entry point for understanding Shi Yin's work.
