幻龙

Huan Long is a Chinese author known mainly for wuxia fiction, though publicly available information about his life is extremely limited, with no clear record of his nationality, dates of birth and death, or English name. Eleven of his works can currently be identified, including The Legend of the Horned Dragon, Cold Rainbow Sword, The Crippled Scholar, Flying Rainbow Iron Garments, Demon-Subduing Flying Dragon, Sunset Dragon Slaying, The Killing Finger, and Blood Shadows of the Vault of Heaven, all classified as wuxia novels. Judging from their titles and themes, Huan Long's works tend to revolve around Jianghu grudges, swordsman revenge, magical swords and martial feats, and clashes between good and evil, bearing the distinct marks of traditional wuxia. Images such as "dragon", "rainbow", "sword", and "blood shadow" recur in the titles, suggesting a preference for eerie, sharp-edged Jianghu imagination and a fast-paced narrative of gratified vengeance. Because public material is limited, his specific career, the dates of his writing, and his martial lineage cannot be reliably verified, and his extant works remain the main way to understand this author.
