刘基

Liu Ji was a highly influential political figure, military strategist, and literary writer in Chinese history, whose writings span military affairs, philosophy, and prose miscellanies. The library contains nine of his works, including representative titles such as Baizhan Qilue, Yuli Zi, Bingfa Xinyao, Huangjin Ce, and The Collected Works of Liu, Grand Master of Chengyi Bo. Among them, Baizhan Qilue focuses on the essentials of military science, while Yuli Zi uses fables and short essays to convey political principles and wisdom for living, with a concise and reflective style. Due to limited public information, details of his life are difficult to verify, but his transmitted works show that Liu Ji was skilled in both military strategy and literary expression. He attended to practical military and political affairs and was also adept at articulating ideas through prose, exerting considerable influence on later military culture and literary creation.
