Summary
Editor's review
For contemporary readers caught in fast-paced digital life, this book offers a rare aesthetic experience of slowing down. It is not merely a craft book but a window into a traditional spiritual world. The editor particularly appreciates the section exploring how paper cutting can combine with contemporary life; rather than treating tradition as a dead specimen, it seeks new possibilities for ancient craft in modern design, spiritual healing, and other fields. This open perspective makes the book suitable both as an introduction to traditional culture and as inspiration for designers and educators in related fields. The binding and printing quality also deserve praise for faithfully reproducing the lines and color details of the paper-cut works.
