Red Wolf Vol. 3

Summary
This volume collects issues #3 of the Red Wolf (2015) series, corresponding to the original single issue Red Wolf #3 (released February 10, 2016). In the Secret Wars tie-in "1872," Red Wolf was the sheriff of the frontier town of Timely and had a standoff with Mayor Wilson Fisk; after a conflict with the Surveyor, he was cast into an entirely unfamiliar world. This volume continues the "stranger in a strange land" lawman storyline: he appears to have no identification and no official law enforcement authority, and as long as Deputy Ortiz regards him as an ordinary man—or even a lunatic—he remains stuck outside the system. But the town of Santa Rosa may genuinely need a lawman like Red Wolf, a hunter who can run down fleeing opponents and flush out those hiding in the shadows. Meanwhile, the mysterious Bray gang is tightening its grip on Santa Rosa, and the conflict ultimately ends in an explosion. In both length and structure, this volume is driven primarily by action and suspense, forming the middle chapter of the six-issue arc's "cops and robbers" confrontation.
Editor's review

FAQ
