Volume 20

"02" is a comics collection series centered on Marvel superhero stories, published continuously in numbered volumes; Volumes 13 through 24, visible in this catalog, form one stretch of it. This volume is the 20th in the series and one installment of the collection, continuing the serialized order of the volumes before and after it; for the specific contents and characters, refer to the copyright page and table of contents of the physical copy. The collection as a whole features color panel storytelling in the tradition of the American comics publishing system, revolving around classic heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe and balancing action sequences, character relationships, and world-building. As one volume in a long serialized run, Volume 20 generally sits mid-narrative, carrying forward earlier threads while planting seeds for later conflicts; it is therefore best read in volume order, as a chapter in a long story rather than a standalone book. Because different editions may vary in contents, trim size, and printing specifications, check the volume number on the back cover and the copyright information before purchasing to confirm that the copy in hand is indeed Volume 20 of this series and not another comic with the same number.
