Volume 14

This is Volume 14 of the "02" series. Judging from the catalog clues, the series is tied to the comic continuation of DC's Smallville Season 11: it picks up after the series finale of the CW show's tenth season and follows Clark Kent after he dons the cape and officially debuts as Superman, while bringing back show characters such as Lois Lane, Oliver Queen, Chloe Sullivan, and Lex Luthor. The season was written by series writer Bryan Q. Miller, first released as digital chapters with every three chapters collected into a print issue and later gathered into volumes by story arc, so the same run often carries two numbering systems—individual issue numbers and volume numbers. Note that the cover of this volume lists only the catalog clues "Marvel Comics Collection / Superman 1 / Smallville Season 11 / Superman 11 Full Edition / 02"; by these clues it should belong to the main Smallville Season 11 run. However, because that season contains many story arcs and the volume numbering on Chinese cataloging platforms does not correspond one-to-one with the original English editions, it cannot be reliably confirmed which chapters this volume collects or which story arcs (such as "Guardian," "Detective," "Haunted," or "Argo") they correspond to. The synopsis therefore provides only series background and does not invent specific plot details for this volume. This is No. 14 among the 12 volumes of the "02" series—that is, Volume 14 of that series.
