Selected Modern Medical Case Records is one volume in Series V of the Renowned Modern Senior Chinese Medicine Masters Reissue Series, published by People's Medical Publishing House in February 2008. The book runs about 246 pages and 128,000 characters. It compiles clinical case records of renowned Chinese physicians from across modern China, including cases by dozens of practitioners such as Xiao Longyou, Liu Huimin, Ye Xichun, Pu Fuzhou, Ran Xuefeng, Song Airen, Wang Zhongqi, He Lianchen, Cao Bingzhang, Wang Fengchun, Kong Bohua, Jiang Chunhua, and Yin Huihe. The selected cases span internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, and acupuncture, covering a wide range of acute and chronic conditions; most were compiled from Chinese medicine journals such as the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, giving the collection a strong flavor of on-the-spot clinical records. In arrangement, cases are organized under the name of each case author, ordered by stroke count, with each physician's cases gathered beneath his name, allowing readers to trace the diagnostic reasoning, prescribing habits, and scholarly orientation of different physicians.
