Summary
This is issue #7 of the series, a single-issue main story originally titled "Something Smells Fishy, Part 1," opening the second story arc of the Catwoman series written by Joëlle Jones. After the turmoil with Batman, Selina Kyle leaves Gotham and moves to the seaside town of Villa Hermosa to start over, using her skills as a thief to gain a foothold in a strange city; her relationship with her sister Maggie is also still slowly mending. Just as she tries to get her life back on track, shadows from Gotham's past come looking for her: the Penguin, fresh from a fight with Batman, arrives in Villa Hermosa, causing explosions and chaos around the docks and the amusement park, using his henchmen to draw out Catwoman. The two face each other near the aquarium at the docks; the Penguin invites her to sit and talk, clearly with another scheme in mind, and the "news" he brings concerns a past Selina is trying to leave behind. Meanwhile, former governor's wife Raina Creel is still running around pursuing her pathological obsession with her appearance. This issue is the first of a two-part story ending on a cliffhanger, continuing in the next issue.

对刚追完《猫女》第一段故事线的读者来说，第7回像是一口气终于松下来、又立刻被重新拧紧的过渡篇：前半让塞琳娜在小城珠宝店里凭一身“吓回去”的本事全身而退，顺带勾起她被“幸运妈妈”福尔图娜调教的童年；后半则用码头连环爆炸把企鹅人推到台前。Joëlle Jones 处理这一段相当克制，没有急着解释企鹅人到底想要什么，而是先让读者看清塞琳娜在新城市里慢慢长出的新生活，再让它被过去敲门。人物刻画是这一册最稳的部分：塞琳娜对妹妹的耐心、对旧日手法的娴熟、对突发骚乱的临场反应，都写得利落；蕾娜·克里尔那段近乎惊悚的整容执念则补上一条阴暗支线。画面上由 Elena Casagrande 与 Fernando Blanco 分别执笔，风格略有出入但整体统一，码头夜戏与游乐场爆炸的节奏感不错。需要提醒的是，本册只有二十来页，是双篇结构的开篇，收在企鹅人“坐下谈谈”的悬念上，冲完整故事来的读者建议连读下一册。
