Starfire, real name Koriand'r, is a superhero published by DC Comics, created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, first appearing in DC Comics Presents #26 in October 1980. She is a princess of Tamaran in the Vega star system; her people can absorb stellar energy and convert it into flight and energy blasts. She has appeared in teams including the Teen Titans, the Outsiders, the Justice League, and the Outlaws, and has a long-running romantic storyline with Dick Grayson, Nightwing.
