Old Dreams

Summary
Lin Jiarui has an "uncle" only four years his senior—Lin Yi.
They grew up together; he saw Lin Yi as family, as his closest friend, as the dream left unfinished in his youth.
But good times never last. When the truth of the previous generation's grievances is revealed, Lin Yi begins to retaliate against the Lin family with everything he has—and Lin Jiarui becomes a pawn in his game.
In one stroke, the two become enemies, and what is done cannot be undone.
Ten years later, Lin Yi returns home in glory and says with a smile, "Xiao Rui, let's forget the past. Let's get to know each other all over again."
Lin Jiarui smiles too, but the smile never reaches his eyes.
He has heard that a meeting can dissolve old grudges with a smile, but he has never believed that two people who hate each other can ever start over...
