Culture Takes the Lead

Summary
The book is divided into two parts—Great Yi culture and traditional Chinese medicine culture. Building on years of research, the author starts from the Yijing and traditional Chinese medicine to explore the development of Chinese culture. The author holds that Chinese culture has the Three Sovereigns and the Three Yis as its common source, that its structure is mainly "Yi" governing "Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism," and that the "Five Classics of National Studies" are the carriers of Chinese culture. Culture is the foundation of a nation; Chinese culture has a long history and will surely become an important foundation for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The Yijing is also the source of traditional Chinese medicine thinking; the philosophical thinking of traditional Chinese medicine culture is "image-numerology thinking." Traditional Chinese medicine culture includes the health-preserving culture of "treating illness before it arises" and the diagnostic and therapeutic culture of "holistic dialectics." The core value of traditional Chinese medicine culture is "benevolence, harmony, refinement, and sincerity." Traditional Chinese medicine culture is an important component and outstanding representative of Chinese culture, and will also become an important forerunner of the revival of Chinese culture.
