Who it's for
A good fit for
Not a good fit for
Reading tips

About the author
Shisilang is a popular author in the fields of Chinese web literature and youth literature. Her publicly available personal information is limited, and seven of her works are currently included in the library. Her writing often moves between wuxia, otherworldly continents, time-travel and alternate-history settings, and youthful romance, combining martial-arts conflicts with delicate and lingering emotional entanglements. Representative works include Zhan Chun, Xiaohun Dian, Three Thousand Crows Killing, Invincible in the World, and Give Me a Lifetime of Honey. Among them, Invincible in the World is the original novel of the TV drama Nian Wu Shuang, and Perfect Match was also adapted into a drama of the same name. Shisilang is skilled at unfolding alternate worlds in a clear and fluent style, portraying characters' emotions and the ups and downs of fate within fantastical settings. Her stories combine romance with readability and have thus attracted reader attention, with several works adapted for film and television.
