Transformers: The Dying of the Light 3

This is the third volume of the Transformers: The Dying of the Light trilogy in the Starfish Creative Transformers series. The original is IDW's Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye collected edition Volume 10, collecting issues 50–55, translated into Chinese by Li Xiang. The story follows Combiner Wars: it begins with the mutiny aboard the Lost Light staged by Getaway, after which Rodimus's team is lured to the planet Necroworld. There, the Decepticon justice squad the DJD, led by Tarn, has already laid siege, and with the planet's communications jammed, a distress signal will take weeks to reach Autobot command. With no way out, the crew broadcast their last words and funeral instructions to the universe, and two long-absent veteran crew members return at this moment, leaving everyone to fight a desperate last stand. Meanwhile, Megatron, who has openly renounced his Decepticon identity, must face a battle of redemption for his past crimes amid the flower fields of Necroworld. Old grudges between enemies, trust and betrayal among the crew, and the choice to "not go gentle into that good night" all reach their climax in this volume. As the finale of The Dying of the Light, it resolves the mysteries left by the first two volumes and serves as a major convergence of the long-running Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye series.
