Summary

It adds genres rarely covered in other practical writing guides yet badly needed today, such as stronger coverage of economic writing. The coming century will be dominated by science, technology and the economy; economic life has permeated every area of people's lives, and the economization of practical writing has gradually become an international trend. In view of this, the book adds introductions to documents for joint-stock enterprises and to foreign trade documents, among others, to keep pace with the development of contemporary economic life.

Editor's review

Compiled by Jing Tao and published in 2017, Complete Guide to Writing Techniques stands out for keeping pace with the economic life of its time and adding genres rarely covered by other practical writing guides, especially economic writing. Beyond conventional writing techniques, it devotes special sections to joint-stock enterprise documents, foreign trade documents and more, responding to the international trend toward the economization of practical writing. For readers who need to handle business and economic documents, the book offers a reference closely attuned to real-world needs. Centered on technique instruction, it is highly practical and well suited as a desk reference to consult as needed. There is no need to read it cover to cover; readers can select chapters relevant to their work and master them through practice. Overall, the book offers a degree of differentiation among comparable writing guides, making it especially suitable for readers interested in economic document writing.
