About the author
Public information about Zhang Hongbing is very limited. His nationality, dates of birth and death, educational background and specific personal experiences have not been reliably documented, and the information currently available centers mainly on the work published under his name. Among the titles held in the collection, Zhang Hongbing is the author of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Preservation and Rehabilitation, a book classified under medicine that deals with traditional Chinese medicine approaches to health preservation and rehabilitative care, making it a practical TCM reader aimed at the general public's health needs. Judging from the subject matter, the author focuses on the practical application of traditional Chinese medical theory to daily care and post-illness recovery, and tends in his writing to turn TCM knowledge into practicable methods of conditioning and care in fairly plain language that is easy for ordinary readers to understand and use. Because the relevant materials are limited, a fuller account of his life and overall body of work cannot yet be given; readers may turn to the book itself to understand his emphases and style of expression in the field of TCM health preservation and rehabilitation.
Public information about Shi Haibo is limited, and no clear records of his nationality, dates of birth and death, or educational background have yet been found. According to the library's holdings, only one work appears under his name, TCM Health and Rehabilitation, which is classified under medicine. It can therefore be inferred that Shi Haibo's writing focuses on traditional Chinese medicine health preservation and rehabilitation care, aimed at general readers interested in traditional medical health practices. The title suggests that the book may address the practical application of traditional Chinese medicine theory in daily care, disease rehabilitation, and physical and mental well-being, combining knowledge popularization with practical guidance. As no other writings by the author or related reviews have been found, it is difficult at present to give a more specific assessment of his overall writing style and scholarly influence; a fuller picture of his work must await further disclosures.
