About the author
Dom is the pen name used by L.M. Wong for his published works. Public information is limited: neither his nationality nor his dates of birth and death are known, and his background remains difficult to establish. Between 2002 and 2004, works under the name Dom were released through Project Gutenberg. Five titles are held in the collection, including Praetor's Lunch, the poetry collections Rhyme and Reason and Rhyme and Reason Volume Two, and the essay and verse gatherings PoPHILO: Popular Philosophy and NATURAE. These works show a writer moving between poetry and the essay, with themes leaning toward philosophical reflection and observations of nature, and with language attentive to rhythm and meter; the title “Rhyme and Reason” itself suggests a dual concern with poetic form and reason. Their inclusion in Project Gutenberg has preserved these works digitally, yet information about the life of this pseudonymous author remains scarce, leaving readers to understand his writing through the texts themselves.
