About the author
Robert Frost (1874–1963) was an American poet known for his depictions of rural life and natural landscapes in New England. His verse is plain in language and close to speech in rhythm, often unfolding through everyday scenes and dramatic monologues, with reflections on the human condition implied beneath the simple surface. The library holds five of his works, including A Boy's Will, North of Boston, Mountain Interval, New Hampshire, A Poem with Notes and Grace Notes, and Selected Poems. These collections draw largely on farms, woods, and country neighbors, and their restrained, quietly lyrical manner has given him an important place in the American poetic tradition. Owing to limited public information, biographical details are omitted here.
