Linux From Beginner to Expert (3rd Edition) is the latest revision of a classic bestseller in Tsinghua University Press's "Linux Classic Library" series. The book comes with teaching videos, mind maps, teaching slides, exercise answer keys, and software tools; each chapter ends with a summary and exercises, making it suitable for self-study as well as classroom teaching. The author, Liu Yizhi, graduated from Zhejiang University's School of Software Technology and has long worked in Linux system administration and server maintenance; he once served as technical director of Zhejiang University's Qiu Shi Chao website.
