Ling Jiang is a web novelist writing in the time-travel and alternate-history genre. Public information about the author is currently limited, with two known works. The representative titles Jin Gui and My Boss Is the Commander of the Palace Front Command suggest that the writing draws on ancient official systems and boudoir life, using time-travel premises to develop characters' fates and emotional entanglements. The inclusion of an official post such as Commander of the Palace Front Command indicates that the author borrows from Song-dynasty military offices and often rearranges power relations and identities in an alternate setting. Overall, Ling Jiang's works favor emotional storytelling and identity displacement against ancient backdrops and appeal to readers who enjoy time-travel alternate-history fiction. As the author's nationality, dates of birth and death, and English name are not found in public sources, the full picture of the author's life and writing remains to be supplemented.
