Li Li is an author about whom little public information is available; sixteen of her works are held in the collection, most of them built around the inner monologues of characters from television dramas and novels. Representative titles include Inner Monologue of Huang Yimei from The Story of Rose, Inner Monologue of Ling Buyi and Inner Monologue of Cheng Shaoshang from Love Like the Galaxy, Inner Monologue of Zhen Huan, Inner Monologue of Ling Miaomiao from Eternal Night Star River, Inner Monologue of You Yongci from My Wedding, and Inner Monologue of Dongfang Qingcang and Inner Monologue of Xiao Lanhua from Love Between Fairy and Devil. Her works are commonly grouped under film and television, essays and miscellany, quality fiction, and modern romance. These titles suggest that Li Li works through first-person monologue to enter a character's inner world, exploring emotional turbulence and psychological change within the framework of the original story. Her prose tends toward the delicate and introspective, offering readers a fresh perspective from which to understand these characters.
