黄威

Huang Wei — public information about this author is limited, and only three works are currently known: The Logic of the Economy, Economics You Can Use Right Away, and A Study of Titles in Ancient Chinese Books. Judging from these titles, his writing spans two fields: finance and economics on the one hand, and social culture on the other. In his economics writing he focuses on bringing abstract theory down to an everyday, accessible level, as the practical title Economics You Can Use Right Away suggests; at the same time, his study of titles in ancient books reflects an interest in traditional texts and philological detail. This combination of popular economics and specialized scholarship places his works in the categories of finance, social culture and management. Overall, Huang Wei comes across as a knowledge writer addressing general readers, with a clear and approachable style; his background, professional identity and full body of work await further public material.
