马仁翰

Ma Renhan is a book compiler about whom limited public information is available; details such as nationality and dates of birth and death remain unknown. Judging from the works currently attributed to him, his work centers on history reading materials. He has served as compiler for Wu Han's writings published by Steinway and China Friendship Publishing Company, including The Enlightenment of History, The Ming Dynasty Imperial Guards and the Eastern and Western Depots, and The Collected Works of Wu Han, a Great Master of Ming History (5 volumes). These compilations are aimed largely at general readers and focus on Ming dynasty history and institutions, reflecting an effort to organize and disseminate Wu Han's historical writings. Given the scarce information, his editorial approach can be seen as a bridge between specialized historical scholarship and ordinary reading, helping readers access knowledge about Ming history more conveniently.
