Fei Shisan is a web-fiction author about whom little public information is available. Two of the author's works are currently listed, namely Hu Bu Gui and its paperback edition. Judging from the common categories, the writing mainly falls into the two directions of otherworld-continent fantasy and wuxia fiction, combining the construction of imaginary worlds with the flavor of the martial-arts underworld. The appearance of Hu Bu Gui in different editions suggests that the work has drawn a certain amount of reader attention, enough to warrant a paperback version. Because basic details such as nationality, dates of birth and death, and English name are not clearly recorded, this introduction cannot say more about the author's life, creative career, or literary background. Readers seeking to understand the writing style can only start from the thematic orientation of Hu Bu Gui and the circulation of its editions, and appreciate its narrative appeal between the otherworld and the martial-arts world.
