Chen Gen

Chen Gen, a native of Zhejiang, is a Chinese writer and commentator on technology and finance. He is a professor-level senior engineer and senior economist, a member of the Science and Technology Committee of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, and a visiting professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, among other positions. He has long been engaged in research on frontier technology, industrial economics and design. His writing spans popular science, design, applied psychology, social culture and management, and twenty-one of his works are held in the collection, including "A Century of Quantum: From Microcosmic Exploration to Technological Reshaping," "Design Geometry," "Design Psychology," "Design Research," "Design Management," "Industrial Design," "Packaging Design: An Advanced Guide from Beginner to Mastery" and "Architectural Design." He is also the author of dozens of monographs, such as "4D Printing: Changing the Future Business Ecosystem," "Wearable Devices: The New Wave of the Mobile Internet" and "Internet Plus Healthcare Integration," several of which have been translated into foreign languages. His writing balances expertise with readability, turning frontier technology and industrial issues into accessible prose for general readers.
