Lu Gui is an author whose work centers on modern romance and youth literature. Public information about the author is limited, and no complete biography is currently available for reference. Judging from the four works held in the collection, the writing is largely set against urban life and focuses on how young women navigate emotion, personal growth, and relationships. Representative titles such as Night Sailing Boat, The Xinchuan Story, Eight Joys, and the three-volume Lu Gui Urban Women's Growth Trilogy suggest a delicate, lyrical narrative style that portrays everyday feelings while carrying the sensitivity and warmth typical of youth literature. The trilogy's publication as a boxed set indicates that the works have developed a certain series identity and recognizability among readers of similar tastes. Overall, Lu Gui's writing stays close to the reading interests of contemporary urban audiences and is worth following for those drawn to modern romance and youth coming-of-age themes.
