Wu Renqing is known through the book Chuxue Zui Pan. Beyond this, public information is limited: his birth and death years, native place, life experience, and nationality are not clearly recorded. On the currently available evidence, Wu Renqing appears in bibliographic records with only one work, Chuxue Zui Pan, commonly classified under literary appreciation. Judging from the title and classification, the book was probably intended for beginners, guiding readers into literary reading and appreciation through selected analyses, commentary, or introductory notes, and thus belongs to the category of appreciative works with an introductory and instructional character.
