Chi Fulin

Chi Fulin, born in August 1951 in Zhaodong, Heilongjiang, is a Chinese economist, researcher and doctoral supervisor. He serves as president of the China Institute for Reform and Development (Hainan) and was a member of the 11th and 12th National Committees of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. A recipient of the State Council special allowance, he has long studied economic structural reform and was selected as one of the "100 economists influencing 60 years of New China's economic construction." His books focus on China's reform and opening-up and high-level opening, such as From Getting Rich to Getting Strong: How to View China's Reform and Opening-Up and Win-Win in the New Era: A High-Level Opening China and the World, combining policy analysis with practical concern. Other works, including 30 Strategies for Tianya, My Hainan Dream and My Reform Passion, draw on his Hainan experience and blend documentary writing with reflection.
