Tan Hui

Tan Hui is, according to publicly available information, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Beijing Film Academy, where she serves as dean of the International School and director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and as secretary-general of the UNESCO Chair in Film Art and Cultural Diversity. Her research and teaching focus on film cultural communication, regional and country-specific film studies, and audiovisual translation. She has led a National Social Science Fund art studies project, is the author of five monographs, including A History of Chinese Dubbed Films, A History of Danish Cinema, and A History of Swedish Cinema, and has edited or co-edited more than 30 textbooks.
