About the author

Yuan Faqiang's publicly available information is limited, and his research interests can be glimpsed from the four works included in the collection. He has maintained a sustained focus on the international commercial arbitration system and its case-based teaching: International Commercial Arbitration and A Casebook on International Commercial Arbitration Law address both theory and practice, combining rule analysis with case studies and making them suitable for legal education and practice. He has also explored the optimization mechanisms of the judicial environment for foreign-related civil and commercial matters, as well as the theory and practice of freedom of navigation in international law, showing a cross-disciplinary vision that extends from arbitration to the judicial environment and further to law of the sea issues. His writing is generally grounded in legal norms and institutional analysis, oriented toward examination and legal reading contexts, and provides readers with a relatively systematic knowledge framework on the relevant topics.
