艾公子

Ai Gongzi is an author whose work centers mainly on history and classical Chinese poetry. Public information about the author is limited: nationality, dates of birth and death, and an English name are not clearly recorded. Judging from the eleven titles held in the collection, Ai Gongzi's writing revolves largely around Chinese history and classical literature. These include attempts to approach historical developments from a geographical perspective, such as the natural and humanistic volumes of Chinese History in Geography; works focused on the development of ci poetry, such as Three Hundred Years of Song Ci; and readings on dynastic rise and fall and historical mysteries, such as 300 Years of the Ming Dynasty, The Collapse of Dynasties: Revealing the Destruction of 17 Dynasties, and Chinese History in Unsolved Cases (III). The works are commonly classified as history readings and classical poetry, and tend toward accessible popularization, often presented thematically or in boxed sets so that readers can enter the worlds of history and poetry by topic.
