胡绍晏

Hu Shaoyan is a Chinese book author about whom limited public information is available; his biography and nationality have not been clearly recorded. Judging from the sixteen works held in the collection, his writing is closely tied to the translation or adaptation of foreign literature. His representative works include The Found and the Lost, as well as multi-volume works related to the A Song of Ice and Fire series, such as the three volumes of A Clash of Kings and the separate volumes of A Storm of Swords, along with a five-volume collection of the original novels behind the television series Game of Thrones. These titles are generally classified under premium fiction, otherworldly continents, and foreign literature, suggesting that his textual work centers on fantasy and epic narrative and reaches Chinese readers partly through the popularity of screen adaptations. Overall, he is an author-editor who draws on foreign fantasy literature and presents his works in serialized form.
