About the author

Geng Li is a Chinese translator about whom limited public information is available, and she works mainly on rendering Western academic classics and philosophical works into Chinese. Her translations span philosophy, social culture and art theory, and three of them are listed here: Bertrand Russell's A History of Western Philosophy (Chongqing Publishing House, 2016, in the illustrated series of representative works by great cultural figures), The Fable of the Bees, and the four-volume series of works on art and philosophy in the same series. Her translating emphasizes fidelity to the original texts while remaining readable, serving readers who wish to approach Western classics systematically and acting as a bridge in popularizing these philosophical works.
