About the author

Xiao Jiangnan is a comic creation team from Taiwan and one of the earlier Taiwanese comics teams to develop in mainland China, with more than a hundred works to its name. The team is known for its bestselling "Plants vs. Zombies" book series, including the "Science Comics", "History Comics", "Dinosaur Comics", and "Famous Chinese Cities Comics" lines. The Science Comics use a question-and-answer format to introduce scientific knowledge, and the three titles held in our catalog—Bacteria and Viruses, Grasslands and Wetlands, and Caves and Islands—belong to this series. The team has also created a full-length historical comic adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, turning classical literature into visual narrative. Its works have received the Golden Tripod Award and the First Animation Award of the China Culture and Art Government Award, among others.
