About the author

Qin Gang is an author about whom limited public information is available; five of his works are currently known, spanning literary translation, Japanese-language textbooks, and management research. His representative works include the four-volume collection of novels by the gifted writer Otsuichi, The Frequency of Loneliness, Advanced Comprehensive Japanese (Volume 1), and Research on the Informatization Development and Innovation of Management Accounting. These works show that Qin Gang's writing and editorial work cover several different fields: he has taken part in introducing the fiction of the Japanese writer Otsuichi, contributed to compiling Japanese-language teaching materials, and addressed the informatization of management accounting. Because reliable biographical information is lacking, his nationality, dates of birth and death, and educational background cannot be confirmed. Overall, Qin Gang's output displays a cross-disciplinary character with a wide range of subjects, but given the limited public information, a full assessment of his writing style and overall influence remains difficult.
