石中歌

Shi Zhongge, about whom limited public information is available, is chiefly engaged in translating J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth works into Chinese; twelve of these translations are held in the collection. Representative translations include The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King), the Tolkien Middle-earth trilogy, The Fall of Gondolin (illustrated edition), and the seven-volume boxed set Tales of Tolkien's Middle-earth. Classified under foreign literature, fine fiction, and otherworldly fantasy, these works cover the hobbits' adventure, the quest to destroy the Ring, and the legends of the First Age of Middle-earth, offering Chinese-language readers a fairly complete rendering of Tolkien's Middle-earth.
