石一宁

Public information about Shi Yining is limited, and his profile as a writer and editor emerges mainly from the six works held in the collection. The series Outstanding Ethnic Literature Selections (2018–2022), which he edited, spans novellas, short stories, poetry, prose and reportage, and criticism, showing sustained attention to and an overall grasp of the current scene of multi-ethnic literary creation. Another work, Rainbow in the Fierce Wind: An Anthology of Poems by Minority Women Poets from China and Mexico in Mutual Translation, turns to cross-linguistic poetic exchange and to the writing and translation of minority women poets. Judging from the available works, his efforts combine an editor's eye with a research sensibility; the subjects range across social fiction, modern poetry, prose and miscellaneous writings, and classic works, and his work is of practical significance in organizing and disseminating the achievements of multi-ethnic literature.
