About the author

Bai Shuqiang: publicly available information is limited, and a complete account of his identity and career has not been disclosed. His works in the library nonetheless indicate the main focus of his writing and research. The three titles all center on the World Trade Organization and global competition policy, including Global Competition Policy: Research on Competition Policy Issues under the WTO Framework and two editions of A Course in the World Trade Organization. The former, part of an economics series, discusses competition policy issues under the WTO framework and has a distinctly academic research orientation; the latter belongs to the 21st Century Economics and Management Planning Textbook series on international economics and trade, is intended for teaching, and places greater emphasis on clear structure and readability. Bai Shuqiang's writing thus combines specialized research with textbook compilation, focusing on international trade rules, competition policy, and the multilateral trading system, and is also listed under management and examination categories, making it suitable for study and reference in related fields.
